West Monroe High School 1983 -1986
- Under Mike's guidance in 1983, West Monroe High School won the first ever LHSPLA State Championship.
- He went on to win 3 straight titles winning the LHSPLA Championship in 1984 and 1985.
- Mike also coached West Monroe to USPF High School National Championship titles in 1984 and 1985.
Monticello High School
Mike says that the highlight of powerlifting for him is, "Just being able to work with high school kids, and seeing them be successful at something, whether it's being a state champion or just getting a new max".
